This powertrain is potent and it generates 280 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Some rumors are reporting that this V6 will gain slightly more power. The platform remains so front-wheel-drive remains.
A 6-speed automatic transmission is also unchanged. In terms of fuel economy, Ridgeline delivers 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. A hybrid variant could also arrive and some reports are even suggesting a high-performance Type R version. If any of these rumors become truth it would be great.
2022 Ridgeline Facelift
In terms of design, a new 2022 Honda Ridgeline will get minor changes. This mid-size pickup truck will borrow some cues from the Pilot SUV. Two models are already sharing the architecture. Now, the time has come for two models to even look similar. Still, Ridgeline is dealing with mid-cycle refreshments. For that reason, the arriving model will gain small changes upfront.
The front fascia will look more stylish. That includes new headlights and fog lights. The grille is slightly reshaped and it will wear more chrome accents. New wheels are available, but it will be optional on the base trim level. Honda will offer a two-way tailgate as standard.
Interior Gets New Upholstery
On the inside, the approaching 2022 Honda Ridgeline will gain a more modern appearance. The new model will introduce a couple of new high-tech features. Still, Ridgeline will remain a five-seat pickup. Honda will improve the level of comfort, but not significantly. The Interior layout remains but Japanese manufacturer will provide more standard equipment.
New upholstery is in the works, along with the backlighting system. Phone integrations, Bluetooth, and USB ports are once again in the offer. Ridgeline will arrive in six different trim levels with Black Edition as the most luxurious variant.

The forthcoming 2022 Honda Ridgeline will cost slightly more than its predecessor. At this moment, Ridgeline costs $32,000. The new model will cost $33,000 or slightly above that. On the other hand, Black Edition, as the most luxurious variant starts at $52,000. A new mid-size pickup truck will go on sale later in 2021, possibly around November.
